Skippers and Vice skippers terms and conditions

    • SUPER ROYAL REGIONAL SQUAD
      • From the onset of December 1, 2024, RMPL has facilitated the establishment of regional squads as a part of the Super Royals Membership program (“Regional Squad”), which will be led by the relevant Super Royals in the manner specified as per these terms and conditions. There will be multiple Regional Squads which will be established across various locations in India, including but not limited to Rajasthan, Assam, Kerala, Mumbai, Delhi. RMPL has the sole discretion to determine the number of Regional Squads and their respective locations.
      • Each Regional Squad shall be led by 1(one) Super Royal who shall be designated as skipper (“Super Royals Skipper”), who shall be ably supported by the relevant vice skippers (“Super Royals Vice Skipper”) for the relevant Regional Squad. RMPL reserves the sole discretion to determine the number, locations and designations for the relevant Regional Squads.
      • The Regional Squads shall be formed at the sole discretion of RMPL and RMPL may, at any point of time and without any prior notice or intimation to Super Royals suspend, discontinue or amend the relevant terms and conditions pertaining to the Regional Squads at all points of time, which
      • Each Regional Squad shall remain in effect for a period of 1(one) year commencing on the date specified by RMPL. RMPL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to extend, renew, or terminate the duration and membership details of the relevant Regional Squads ("Squad Term"). It is hereinafter clarified that all members of all Regional Squads must procure any one of the relevant Super Royals Membership plans for each year(s) they are involved in. Failure to procure the relevant Super Royals Membership will result in termination of the relevant Super Royals’ participation in the relevant Regional Squad.
      • It is hereinafter clarified that each member of the relevant Regional Squads, which shall include but not be limited to the relevant Super Royals Vice Skippers and Super Royals Skippers, shall not post and/or circulate any content which includes the usage of any language, terms, graphical, audio-visual or other representations and shall causes any loss, harm, damage or disrepute to the reputation and the brand name carried by RMPL, its affiliates and/or the RR Team. In the event that the relevant Super Royal undertakes the usage of any language or representations which result in loss or disrepute to the reputation of RMPL (including its affiliates, associated entities, shareholders, directors, staff and employees) or engages in any actions that constitutes a violation of these Regional Squad Terms (defined hereinafter), RMPL shall be entitled, at its sole discretion, to take any such action(s) deemed appropriate, including but not limited to the termination of the relevant Super Royal’s membership, and their participation in any Regional Squads, as a result of such breach of the Regional Squad Terms.
      • It is hereinafter clarified that no member of any of the Regional Squads shall be permitted to charge any fees or additional amounts to any of the other Super Royal members in relation to the events being held and/or conducted by the respective Regional Squad.
      • All members of each Regional Squad agree and acknowledge that they shall not engage in, participate in, or use any events, activities, or opportunities associated with the Regional Squads for any corrupt, fraudulent, or illegal purposes. The members further agree to fully comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws, rules and regulations including but not limited to the Anti-Corruption Act, 1988. Any act of corruption, bribery, or unethical conduct by a member, as determined by RMPL in its sole discretion, may result in immediate removal from the Regional Squad, disqualification, and such other remedies as RMPL deems appropriate.
      • All members of the Regional Squad, which shall include but not be limited to the relevant Super Royals Skipper and Super Royals Vice Skippers, shall indemnify and hold RMPL and its partners harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, arising out of or related to the usage of any content submitted by the relevant Super Royal to the Super Royals page, the conduct and statements of both the relevant Super Royals and their guest(s) who shall participate in any of the events mentioned hereinafter(as a part of the entitlements and benefits provided to the relevant Regional Squad member), and any breach of the terms and conditions herein. The Super Royal acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for any consequences resulting from their actions or omissions during the Term. This indemnification shall survive the termination of these Regional Squad Terms.
      • It is hereinafter clarified that members of the Junior tier of the Super Royals Membership will not be eligible to qualify as Super Royals Skippers or Super Royals Vice Skippers for the respective Regional Squads.
      • The Super Royal agrees and acknowledges that all content which shall be submitted by themselves during the Term of their Membership with respect to their relevant Regional Squad in the capacity of a Super Royals Skipper and/or a Super Royals Vice Skipper shall be in accordance with the Regional Squad Terms at all times.
      • The Super Royal agrees and acknowledges that all entitlements and benefits provided to them as a part of the Regional Squad, shall be subject to RMPL’s discretion. For entitlements pertaining to RR matches, the Super Royal shall be solely responsible for ensuring that they have conveyed to RMPL in writing with respect to their requirements for tickets, travel and accommodation within the stipulated deadlines which shall be intimated by RMPL to them from time to time.
      • It is hereby clarified that all members of the Regional Squads shall be bound by the terms specified herein as well as all terms outlined in terms and conditions for the Super Royals membership (collectively referred to as “Regional Squad Terms”). These Regional Squad Terms shall be read in conjunction with the terms & conditions, and the privacy policy of the RR App/website and such all other policies, rules, regulations and terms of use referred to herein or provided on the RR App/website or may be prescribed by RMPL. RMPL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend, modify, or supplement the terms set forth in these Regional Squad Terms at any time.

    In order to facilitate the creation and promotion of the relevant Regional Squads, RMPL will seek to involve a select number of Super Royals as Super Royals Vice Skippers, who shall be required to adhere to the following requirements:

    • ELIGIBILITY

        Any Super Royal shall be eligible to qualify as a Super Royals Vice Skipper during the respective Squad Term, subject to the fulfilment of all of the following conditions and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • The Super Royal must contribute a minimum of 4(four) approved content pieces on a monthly basis during In-season (defined hereinafter) to the Super Royals page. RMPL reserves sole discretion to determine and approve the relevant content pieces contributed the relevant Super Royal(s);
      • The Super Royal must receive a minimum of twenty thousand views on any one approved content pieces on their personal social media handles with relevant hashtags of their Regional Squad;
      • The Super Royal must receive the recommendation of the relevant Super Royals Skipper for their respective Regional Squad.
      • It is imperative that the relevant Super Royal must receive a recommendation of the designated personnel from RMPL’s management for the selection of the relevant Super Royals Vice Skipper.

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the number and allocation of Super Royals Vice Skippers for each Regional Squad. RMPL reserves all rights to alter the eligibility requirements for Super Royals Vice Skippers at all points of time. RMPL reserves the right to pick the initial set of Super Royals Vice Skippers from the most active set of content creators in terms of volume during the relevant timelines specified and determined by RMPL, and subject to discussions with the relevant Super Royals Skipper for the respective Regional Squad.

        “In-season” shall refer to the entire duration of the relevant IPL season and 1(one) month before the relevant IPL season and after the end of the relevant IPL season of the relevant calendar year, as determined by RMPL.

        “Off-season” shall refer to time period outside of In-Season during the relevant calendar year, as determined by RMPL.

    • RETENTION

        RMPL reserves all rights to alter the eligibility criteria for selection of Super Royals Vice Skippers. Pursuant to their selection as Super Royals Vice Skipper(s), the relevant Super Royals Vice Skipper will need to ensure that the following criteria is met on a biannual basis and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • They shall continue to receive the relevant Super Royals Skipper’s recommendation for their contribution to their Regional Squad;
      • The Super Royals Vice Skipper must contribute high-quality content to the Super Royals page according to the following frequency:
        1. At least twice a week In-season and around key events;
        2. Once every month Off-season

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the manner in which the relevant Super Royals Vice Skippers shall be retained for each Regional Squad at all points of time.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES

        The Super Royals Vice Skippers will have to ensure that they perform the following responsibilities as a part of their role as Super Royals Vice Skippers during the respective Squad Term and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • They will continue to create high-quality content pieces for the Super Royals page in the manner under Clause II(b) above;
      • They will be required to attend a minimum of 2(two) approved fan events each calendar year as organised in their respective regions;
      • They will facilitate the activation of regional groups and Super Royals Regional Squads in the manner specified by RMPL.

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the responsibilities of Super Royals Vice Skippers for each Regional Squad at all points of time.

    • BENEFITS

        The eligible Super Royals who are selected as Super Royals Vice Skippers will be entitled to receive the following benefits during the respective Squad Term and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • They will be provided with 1(one) virtual / in-person meet and greet opportunity with the relevant RR coaches / support staff as per RMPL’s discretion on a best-efforts basis;
      • They will be provided with early access to purchase 2(two) tickets for the relevant home matches on a best-efforts basis;
      • They will be provided with 1(one) RR matchday jersey free of cost;
      • The RR social media account will send requests to follow them back on the approved social media platform(s)
      • They will be provided with a opportunity to become a Super Royals Skipper at the discretion of the relevant RMPL management, subject to a Super Royals Skipper position becoming vacant for their region or new relevant Super Royals Skipper positions being created. RMPL shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the selection and manner of selection of the prospective Super Royals Skippers.

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the benefits and entitlements provided to the Super Royals Vice Skippers for each Regional Squad at all points of time.

    In order to facilitate the creation and promotion of the relevant Regional Squads, RMPL will seek to involve a select number of Super Royals as Super Royals Skippers, who shall be required to adhere to the following requirements:

    • ELIGIBILITY

        Subject to vacancy of an existing Super Royals Skipper position or the introduction of a new Super Royals Skipper, any Super Royals Vice Skipper shall be eligible to qualify as a Super Royals Skipper during the respective Squad Term, subject to the fulfilment of all of the following conditions, and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • The Super Royals Vice Skipper must contribute high-quality content to the Super Royals page according to the following frequency:
        1. At least twice a week In-season and around key events
        2. Once every month out-of-season
      • The Super Royal Vice Skipper must receive a written recommendation of the designated personnel from RMPL’s management.
      • After opening up of a Super Royals Skipper vacancy for their region, the Super Royal, in their capacity as a Super Royals Vice Skipper, must organize a minimum of 1(one) fan screening which must feature more than 25(twenty-five) people for their respective region.

        • In case of multiple Super Royals Vice Skippers fulfilling all the above criteria for a given region, the Super Royals Skipper will be selected based on the number of referred Super Royals members that the Super Royals Vice Skipper has brought in. This will be tracked via the personalised discount codes that each Super Royals Vice Skipper will receive. RMPL shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the selection of the relevant Super Royal Member who shall be selected as the Super Royals Skipper(s).

    • RETENTION

        RMPL reserves all rights to alter the eligibility criteria for selection of Super Royals Skippers. Pursuant to their selection as Super Royals Skipper(s), the relevant Super Royals Skipper will need to ensure that the following criteria is met on a biannual basis during the respective Squad Term and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • The Super Royals Skipper will need to organise at least 2(two) approved high quality events for Super Royals in their region and arrange fan turnouts of more than 25(twenty-five) people for each such event across the year;
      • The Super Royals Skipper will need to take documented efforts to promote the Super Royals membership program in order to facilitate the induction of new members in their respective Regional Squads and grow the fan community, in the manner specified by RMPL;
      • The Super Royals Skipper must contribute high-quality content to the Super Royals page according to the following frequency:
        1. At least twice a week In-season and around key events
        2. Once every month Off-season

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the manner in which the relevant Super Royals Skippers shall be retained for each Regional Squad at all points of time.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES

        The Super Royals Skippers will have to ensure that they perform the following responsibilities as a part of their role as Super Royals Skippers during the respective Squad Term and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • They will be required to organise 2(two) events of any of the following type of events pertaining to RR - match screenings, turf cricket, fantasy league group and charity events annually;
      • They will be required to contribute to the Super Royals pages on the relevant social media platforms according to the following frequency:
        1. At least twice a week In-season and around key events, as per RMPL’s discretion;
        2. Once every month Off-season
      • They will be required to facilitate conversation in Super Royals Regional Squads and in supporting fan groups, in the manner specified by RMPL;

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the responsibilities of Super Royals Skippers for each Regional Squad at all points of time.

    • BENEFITS

        The eligible Super Royals who are selected as Super Royals Skippers will be entitled to receive the following benefits from RMPL during the respective Squad Term and at the sole discretion of RMPL:

      • They will receive 1(one) player meet & greet opportunity which may be virtual or in-person as per RMPL’s discretion. RMPL reserves the sole discretion to determine the players, timing, and location of the player interaction;
      • They will receive 2(two) free Super Royals lawns tickets for every RR home match. RMPL reserves the sole discretion to determine the price and category of the tickets for the relevant RR match.
      • They will receive 1(one) free ticket for themselves in the event RR participates in any playoff match. RMPL reserves the sole discretion to determine the price and category of the ticket(s) for the RR match;
      • They will receive 1(one) RR Matchday jersey, 1(one) premium Super Royals kit and 1(one) Super Royals Skipper badge at RMPL’s cost;
      • They will receive 1(one) piece of player signed merchandise on a best effort basis.
      • They will receive a follow back on the relevant RR social pages and be featured on digital platforms like official RR website and app pages.
      • In the event the relevant Super Royals Skipper is based outside of Jaipur or Guwahati, and within India, then for any 1(one) RR home match which shall be pre-approved by RMPL, RMPL shall book round trip travel for the Super Royals Skipper and 1(one) guest during the relevant match dates which shall not exceed a total sum of INR 10,000. RMPL reserves the sole discretion to determine the relevant airline and price of the relevant flight tickets for this trip. RMPL shall also book one standard room for the relevant Super Royals Skipper and their guest at a hotel of RMPL’s discretion during the relevant RR match dates at the home venue where the Super Royals Skipper will be traveling to. The cost of the hotel stay shall not exceed INR 10,000 per night.
      • Subject to evaluation on a case-by-case basis, RMPL may provide branding and financial support for the organization of relevant fan events by the relevant Super Royals Skippers in relation to their Regional Squad. It is hereinafter clarified that any form support shall be provided at the sole discretion of RMPL and contingent upon prior written approval from RMPL management, receipt of the relevant invoices, and compliance with RMPL’s guidelines. RMPL shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, or liabilities incurred in connection with such events which have not received the prior written consent of RMPL. The relevant Super Royals Skipper shall indemnify, defend, and hold RMPL harmless from and against any claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the relevant fan event, including, without limitation, any violation of applicable laws, third-party claims, personal injury, serious bodily harm, property damage, third-party claims, or any other liabilities. This indemnification shall survive the termination of these Regional Squad Terms.

        • It is hereinafter clarified that RMPL shall have the sole discretion to determine the benefits and entitlements provided to the Super Royals Skippers for each Regional Squad at all points of time.
