In the mega auction for Indian Premier League 2022, Tushar Deshpande's talent didn't go unnoticed as he was acquired by the Chennai team at his base price of INR 20 Lakhs. Since then, he has been part of the team in yellow and even went on to win the title with them in the 2023 season.
