Ashok Sharma

Ashok Sharma is a promising right-arm fast bowler from Rampura village near Jaipur. Born on June 17, 2002, Ashok is known for his sharp bouncer and showcased his potential early as part of Rajasthan’s Under-19 state team in 2019. His impressive bowling action caught the attention of Dishant Yagnik, Rajasthan Royals’ fielding coach, earning him an invitation to the trials. During the pandemic, Ashok Sharma attended trials in Jaipur and was picked as a net bowler for the Royals. His smooth run-up and consistent action impressed selectors, prompting bids from Rajasthan Royals during the IPL 2022 mega auction. However, the inaugural champions then missed out on securing his services back then. Ashok Sharma finally joined the Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2025 season.
