Rajasthan Royals opener Yashasvi Jaiswal became the fourth-fastest Indian to reach 3000 runs in T20 cricket, reaching the milestone in just 102 innings on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old left-hander achieved the feat with a six against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the ACA Cricket Stadium in Guwahati during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match.

Tilak Varma holds the record for the fastest Indian batter to reach 3000 T20 runs, achieving the feat in just 90 innings. Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill complete the top five.

For the Indian cricket team, Jaiswal has scored 723 runs in T20 Internationals (T20I).

En route to the 3000-run landmark in T20s, Jaiswal has shattered multiple records with the Rajasthan Royals.

In 2023, Jaiswal smashed the fastest fifty in the IPL, reaching the mark in just 13 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders. The same season, he became Rajasthan Royals’ youngest centurion, blasting 124 against Mumbai Indians at 21 years and 123 days.

Jaiswal finished IPL 2023 as the highest run-scorer in a single edition by an uncapped Indian, amassing 625 runs. The stellar campaign earned him debuts in India’s Test and T20I squads later that year. He followed it up with another solid IPL 2024 season, scoring 435 runs at an average of over 30.
