Yashasvi Jaiswal’s knock also saw him become the fifth player to breach the 2000-run mark for the Rajasthan Royals.

RR skipper Sanju Samson (3966), Jos Buttler (3055), Ajinkya Rahane (2810) and Shane Watson (2372) are the only players who have scored more IPL runs than Jaiswal while playing for the inaugural champions.

The left-hander now has 2033 runs for RR in 63 matches at an average of 34.45 and a strike rate of 151.04. Jaiswal has also scored 14 fifties and two centuries for RR with his highest score of 124 off 62 balls coming against Mumbai Indians in IPL 2023.

The 23-year-old Jaiswal is currently also the player with the joint-second most fifties in IPL 2025 alongside Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan with five half centuries. Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s Virat Kohli is on top of the pile with six half tons.
