Rajasthan will also be under new leadership withRiyan Parag having been named as the stand-in captain for the first three matches as full-time skipperSanju Samson is still recovering from an injury.
Samson, though not cleared to wicketkeeper or field yet, can still play a part as a specialist batter.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals players
Riyan Parag, at just 23, is on the cusp of history and is slated to become the Royals’ youngest captain and the fifth-youngest skipper in IPL history when he steps out for the toss in Hyderabad.
The youngster, however, will have his work cut out for him with Australia’s World Cup and World Test Championships-winning captain Pat Cummins leading SRH.
Parag, however, will have Royals’ new head coach and Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid in his corner to level the playing field.
Sticking to youngsters, the Royals also have the 13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi in their ranks, who is already the youngest player to ever bag an IPL contract.
The teenager is an explosive batter and could flourish this season under the guidance of Dravid, Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who also found his break with the Royals at a young age.
With the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium’s reputation as a batter’s paradise, the focus will be on the batters of both teams.
The Royals bowling unit, including the returning Jofra Archer who is just short of 50 IPL wickets, will also need to contain Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.
The SRH openers were in sensational form last season and were key behind the Hyderabad team’s run till the final.
