Rahane’s best score at the venue was 105 off 63 balls for the Rajasthan Royals against the Delhi Capitals. It remains the highest individual score by a Royals player at the SMS Stadium to date.

Highest score

New Zealand’s Neil Broom holds the record for the highest individual T20 score at the venue with an unbeaten 117 off 56 balls for Otago against Perth Scorchers in the 2013 Champions League Twenty20. His century powered Otago to 242/4, leading to a 62-run victory.

Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 113 off 72 balls for RCB against RR in IPL 2024 is the highest individual score in the league at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

Former Rajasthan Royals pacer Siddharth Trivedi holds the record for most T20 wickets at the stadium, scalping 36 wickets in 32 matches at an average of 22.69 and an economy of 7.31. His best bowling figures at the venue stand at 3/19.

Best bowling figures

Hyderabad’s Ravi Teja registered the best T20 bowling figures at the venue, returning 6/13 against Chhattisgarh in the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His spell helped Hyderabad dismiss Chhattisgarh for 97 before chasing down the target comfortably.

Former Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir holds the IPL record for the best bowling figures at the venue with his iconic 6/14 for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2008.

Highest team total

Otago’s 242/4 against the Perth Scorchers in the 2013 Champions League Twenty20 remains the highest team total at the stadium. Neil Broom’s 117*, Ryan ten Doeschate’s 66 off 26 and Derek de Boorder’s 45 off 28 powered Otago to the record score.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s 217 in a successful run chase against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023 is the highest total recorded at the venue in an IPL match.

Lowest team total

Manipur hold the unwanted record for the lowest T20 total at the venue, bowled out for just 40 in 14.1 overs against Punjab in the 2022 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Punjab’s Mayank Markande ran riot with figures of 4/4 in 3.1 overs as they wrapped up a nine-wicket win inside 5.3 overs.

Rajasthan Royals’ 59 all out against Royal Challengers Bengaluru is the lowest IPL total at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.

Highest partnership

Delhi’s Yash Dhull and Nitish Rana hold the record for the highest T20 partnership at the venue, adding 173 runs for the third wicket against Punjab in the 2022 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Rana’s 107 off 61 balls and Dhull’s unbeaten 66 powered Delhi to a 12-run win.

The legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Dwayne Smith hold the IPL record, forging an unbeaten 163-run opening stand for Mumbai Indians against Rajasthan Royals in 2012.

Highest successful chase

Sunrisers Hyderabad hold the record for the highest successful chase at this venue against Rajasthan Royals.

The Royals, courtesy of Jos Buttler’s 95, skipper Sanju Samson’s 66 and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s 35, posted 214/3 in IPL 2023. Abhishek Sharma (55) and Rahul Tripathi (47) were the top contributors for Hyderabad but it was Abdul Samad who sealed the contest with a six off the last ball when the team needed four to win.
