Rajasthan Royals will kick-start their Indian Premier League 2024 campaign against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in Sunday’s first match.
The RR vs LSG match on March 24 is scheduled to start at 3.30 PM IST. The IPL 2024 game will be available to watch on live streaming for free in India.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravichandran Ashwin and Dhruv Jurel are back in the Rajasthan Royals squad after their successful stint with the Indian cricket team which beat England 4-1 in the recently concluded five-match Test series.
The Royals will miss the services of pacer Prasidh Krishna, who has been ruled out of IPL 2024 due to injury.
This will be the first time that Avesh Khan and Devdutt Padikkal face off against their old sides, after their trade swap before the IPL 2024 auction in December last year.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the Royals’ top run-getter in the previous edition of IPL with 625 runs, the most by an uncapped player in an IPL season. He averaged 48.07 and had a strike rate of 163.61. In fact, last year he scored the fastest 50 in the IPL taking just 13 balls to reach the mark against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Jaiswal’s 124 against the Mumbai Indians, is the highest score by an uncapped player in the IPL and joint-highest score by a Royals batter in the tournament.
The left-handed Jaiswal had the most runs in the first six overs in the IPL 2023, scoring 361 coming at a fast clip of 174.00, the best strike rate among those who played more than 100 balls.
Riyan Parag, meanwhile, finished as the top run-getter amassing 510 runs, including seven half-centuries from 10 matches, in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2023, the premier domestic T20 tournament.
