While the Royals have hit more sixes than any team in the powerplay overs this season, no batter has cleared the ropes more frequently than Jaiswal in the first six overs.

A more aggressive approach in the opening six overs, in fact, has been a prominent feature of the Royals’ strategy under new head coach Rahul Dravid.
In sharp contrast, the Royals had hit only 19 powerplay sixes in the entirety of the last season. Jaiswal had, again, contributed eight of these.
Jaiswal has been a key figure in the strategy as the classy southpaw leads the charts for players with the most sixes in powerplay overs in IPL 2025 with 15 maximums - two more than PBKS’ Priyansh Arya who appears second on the list.
Sanju Samson, despite missing the last two games, has also chipped in by clearing the boundary seven times in the seven matches he has played in this campaign.
Jaiswal is Rajasthan Royals’ top scorer this season, having amassed 356 runs from nine matches at an average of close to 40. He has also scored four half-centuries this season and fell just one short of a fifth in Thursday's game against RCB.
PBKS’ had hit the most powerplay sixes in IPL 2024 with 29.
