Rajasthan Royals players Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel were awarded BCCI Central Contracts 2024-25, as recognition for their consistent performances for the Indian cricket team.
The Board of Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the 2024-25 BCCI Central Contracts players list for the men’s team on Monday.
BCCI Central Contracts are yearly retainership agreements between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and select Indian cricketers based on their recent performance, consistency and role in the national team setup.
The BCCI Central Contracts are split into four tiers - Grade A+ with a salary of ₹7 crore, Grade A with a salary of ₹5 crore, Grade B with a salary of ₹3 crore and Grade C with ₹1 crore.
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been retained in Grade B, while Royals skipper Sanju Samson and rising star Dhruv Jurel have been placed in Grade C. The contracts, awarded to 34 players in total, are valid from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025.

Jaiswal’s sensational rise continued through a blockbuster 2024. His tally of 1478 runs is the second-most by an Indian and the most by an Indian opener in any calendar year.
He ended the year as the second-highest scorer in red ball cricket behind England’s Joe Root, who scored 1556 runs from 17 matches.
Scoring at an average of 54.74 and a strike rate of almost 70, Jaiswal hit 36 sixes in 2024, a new world record for a calendar year. He was later named in the ICC Men's Test Team of the Year 2024.
Sanju Samson, Royals skipper since 2021, lit up the white-ball circuit with a historic run in T20Is.
The stylish right-hander became the first cricketer to smash three T20I hundreds in a calendar year - a 47-ball 111 against Bangladesh, a 50-ball 107 and a 109 off 56 against South Africa.
Also making his mark was Dhruv Jurel, who debuted for India in the T20I series against Zimbabwe. He impressed in red-ball cricket too, registering scores of 80 and 68 in the unofficial Australia A Tests in Melbourne.
