The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Stadium, also known as Barsapara Cricket Stadium, has emerged as a key venue in Indian cricket since its establishment in 2012.
Located in the bustling city of Guwahati, the ACA Cricket Stadium has been Rajasthan Royals’ second home in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2023, hosting two matches each season to promote cricket in the northeast.
Among the Royals’ fan favourites at the venue is Riyan Parag, an Assam native, adding a local flavour to the franchise’s presence in Guwahati.
The Guwahati stadium in Barsapara boasts a seating capacity of approximately 40,000 and staged its first international fixture in October 2017, when Australia eased past India by eight wickets in a T20 International (T20I).
A year later, India returned to dominate the venue, clinching an eight-wicket win over West Indies in its maiden ODI at the ACA Stadium.
Here’s a closer look at the key T20 records at the Guwahati Stadium.
