At Rajasthan Royals, we are on a mission to “Transform Society through Cricket, and Cricket through Innovation”. We are a global sports franchise that believes that royalty is not something one inherits, it is something that is to be earned. This 'Spirit of Royalty' is what sets Rajasthan Royals apart from the myriad other sports franchises globally. We call it being Royal at Heart.

So what exactly does it take to be a Royal at Heart? Winning in style. Never losing without a fight. Being resilient. Standing up - for yourself, the team and the game. Setting the bar high and leaving a legacy behind. But being large-hearted and welcoming at the same time.

It is this spirit that has led Rajasthan Royals to discover, nurture and promote new talent the future stars of Indian cricket. The Royals are also known for their innovative and pioneering approach.

The first player to win the Most Valuable Player award in an IPL and the one to win this award the maximum number of times in the history of the IPL was again a Royal - Shane Watson. We were also the first team to chase down a record IPL score of 217, a feat that stands unbroken to this day.

The Royals are rightly known as a team of firsts, and this extends to the digital realm as well - we were the first team to broadcast a designated YouTube Channel in November 2008 and to launch an electronic tablet in 2013.

The Anthem - Halla Bol

"Halla Bol" started off as a battle cry for the team and has been the anthem of the Rajasthan Royals ever since.

The Royals' brand of cricket has received praise for its spirit, aggression and the ability to display courage in the face of adversity. The phrase “Halla Bol” represents the same intensity and fighting spirit that is synonymous not just with the team, but also with the people of Rajasthan.

Royalty and team spirit form the core values of the Royals' logo that has been designed to evoke pride and grandeur.

The lion buglers celebrate the large RR symbol that occupies the central area of the logo. While the Rajasthan Royals are all about being competitive and fair on the field, the logo epitomizes revelry, respect and pride.

The logo was redesigned in 2019 after valuable feedback from our fans on elements that needed strengthening. It emphasizes the strategic intent of the franchise, which is to listen and engage with its fans.

The boundless version of the logo

The boundless version of the logo, termed as the Royal Crest, is a special rendition of the brand mark created for modern visual communications.

Freed from the confines of the oval and the lions, the monotone crest becomes a versatile symbol of the team's identity, to be used on apparel and other creative communications.
